An international tourist has died on Fraser Island and another is fighting for life following a serious crash.
Four people were travelling along the popular 75 Mile Beach sand road about 7am on Sunday when the 4WD they were in lost control.
It rolled, killing the driver, just north of Eli Creek.
One of the rear passengers suffered serious head, hand and abdominal injuries.
The man in his late 20s was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Another two men, also aged in their 20s, were treated on scene for minor injuries.
They were flown to Hervey Bay in a stable condition.
