Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) was recently named ‘Oceania’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre’ at the World Travel Awards 2020, alongside Melbourne which was named ‘Oceania’s Leading Meetings and Conference Destination’ for a seventh year.

MCEC Chief Executive, Peter King said: “We want MCEC to be known as more than an incredible space, but the home of unexpected experiences and unconventional ways of working. This dynamic and flexible way of thinking is what sets us apart and is why our loyal customers continue to support and grow with us, even in difficult economic climates.

The World Travel Awards have been running for 27 years, and celebrate excellence across the tourism industry. Award winners are selected via votes cast by travel professionals and high-end tourism consumers.
