Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell admits cheeky forward Jack Ginnivan is walking a fine line with some of his podcast revelations.
In one recent Titch & Ginni Show, Ginnivan and former star Tom Mitchell discussed changes in Carlton’s ball movement from this year to last, while also touching on some of the things Hawthorn do.

“They do go long into the forward 50,” Ginnivan says of Carlton, while showing a magnet board of the positioning.
“Let’s just say Hawthorn on the outside, the gold (magnets), are ready to bang to the open side … and Carlton might be stuck skinny here.”
Appearing on Channel 7’s The Agenda Setters on Tuesday, Sam Mitchell was asked if he was concerned Ginnivan was giving “a little bit too much away”.
And the coach admits the gun forward is right on the edge.
“I spoke to Jack about it,” Mitchell revealed on Channel 7’s The Agenda Setters.
“Jack’s future … he’s going to be in your chair (pointing to Agenda Setters host Kane Cornes) one day … he’s very, very good … if he doesn’t go into coaching and take my job, which I’d prefer.
“He’s got a very good footy mind, and I understand why he’s doing that.
“He’s building his brand which is a big part of AFL football now.
“But I would say that’s right on the borderline.
“So if he gives away more information, I think I would be having a word with him and say that’s enough.
“But he has to add value for the fans and (so I can understand why) he’s doing that.”
