OK, hear me out. Is this pricey? Yep. Does it take high-quality photos that you — and generations beyond you — will cherish? Also yep. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2011 and a Canon guy for even longer (remember the PowerShot?).
Until recently, the 5D Mark III, pictured here, was my go-to, a full-frame camera that perfectly captured everything from families to weddings to wildlife and landscapes. I’ve had it since 2012, so it’s old, heavy and lacks some of the features of new, smaller cameras.
